I found a note written on a small piece of paper tucked behind a wooden jewelry box on top of my Grammy's dresser. On a 2" x 2" piece of paper, in handwriting almost identical to my father's, it said:
Use it up
Wear it out
Make it do
Or do without

ReplyDeleteThat is fucking rad. How cool to be in your grandmother's place and like discover her nooks and cranies? (And I mean that, of course, in a respectful way). That's awesome, though, retracing her steps: its like she still lives (or maybe im still a little beat up from lastnight).
